T.B.& S. is a vegetable producer located in Sint Pancras, near Alkmaar, in the Netherlands. We have been an established name in the Dutch vegetable growing industry since 2000. In addition to our cultivation areas in the Netherlands, we also have over 200 hectares of farmland in Portugal. This enables us to supply a large part of our range the whole year round.
On a total of 300 hectares, T.B.&S. cultivates white cabbage, red cabbage, oxheart cabbage, broccoli, assorted lettuce types (Little Gem), endive, bok choi (Chinese cabbage) and other vegetables. When it comes to cultivation, storage, processing and trading, we are one of the largest and most innovative vegetable companies in Europe. By keeping everything under our own management, we are able to supply a variety of vegetables in all sorts of packaging within the agreed upon delivery time. This includes sealed as well as unsealed vegetables.
Our refrigerated storage facility can accommodate 5 million kilos of vegetables. The majority of these are stored in accordance with the CA (Controlled Atmosphere) conditions. This means that products are cooled in an isolated space, whereby the oxygen content is reduced. This way, we can store vegetables for longer periods without compromising quality.
In short, we are the right place for fresh vegetables, whole year round!
